Templates
Template is a pre-defined format to establish end-user communication. cidaas provides templates for various communication methods like Email, SMS, IVR, and Push. Templates facilitates the user to replace the content as per their requirement. The user can modify changes quickly and create templates that encourage simple communication with the user.
To start using cidaas Templates, Login to Admin UI and click on the Settings drop-down menu, and then select Templates.
cidaas Templates
cidaas offers two types of templates set-ups:
- cidaaas Templates: Offers pre-defined set of templates.
- Developer Templates: Offers customization and developement of new template set-ups.
In this section we will show you how to use the default template to for different user verification services.
1. Go to Cidaas Templates and click on edit template group button of default template group.
In cidaas templates you can also create a new template group based on your requirement.
Default Templates Setup
Default Templates group offers pre-configured set-up for different notification types.
Navigate to Default Templates setup by selecting Settings -> Templates -> Cidaas Templates -> default -> Template
On the Templates Setup, you can see the notification messages sent to the users at different times.
There are pre-defined placeholders that allow the diverse client and product feature to integrate dynamically during the creation of the respective messages sent.
Notification Type
cidaas offers varied Notification type options.

Verify Account Template |
Once the user got registered with cidaas, a verification email is sent to the appropriate users' email to verify the account.

Welcome User Template |
Once the user got registered, and as soon as they verify their account, a welcome notification can be triggered using this template.

User Created Template |
Once created the user, an email notification is sent to the appropriate users' email to inform the created user account.
|
Invite User Template |
When administrator invites the user to provide access, an email will be sent as per this template to the appropriate users' email.

Reset Password Template |
To reset the password, an email notification is sent to the appropriate users' email.

After Change Password Template |
When the user changes the password, using this template, you can send an email notification to the appropriate users' email
|
New Device Template |
When the user login from a different device, an email notification is sent to the appropriate users' email.

New Location Template |
When the user login from a different location, an email notification is sent to the appropriate users' email.

New Network Template |
When the user login from a different network, an email notification is sent to the appropriate users' email.

After De_Activate User Template |
If the Administrator detects a fraud user and deactivates the particular user account, the respective user will receive an email notification configured in this template.

When the admin re-activate a users' account, an email notification configured in this template is triggered to the respective user.

User Created Verify Template |
When the admin re-activate a users' account, an email notification configured in this template is triggered to the respective user.

Un-Register user Alert Template |
When a user unregisters from email subscriptions and notifications, the user will get an email notification configured in this template.

Un-Register Merge Identity Alert Template |
When a user unregisters from mergerd identitiies, subscriptions, and notifications, the user will get an email notification configured in this template.

Passeord Reset by Admin Template |
When the administrator resets the user password, the user will get an email notification generated via this template

Once the user got registered with cidaas, a verification email is sent to the appropriate user's email to verify the account.

In this section we will elabarote how to use Email template type.
1. Select the “Notification type for which you reruire a template.
2. Select the template type.
Creating an email notification involves specifying when to send it, who receives it, and what it contains.
There are two ways of processing Email: Link and Code
1. Link
Link flow - Verification link will be sent to the user via email. Once user clicks on that link verification process starts.
1. Click the “Link” button and select the appropriate locale.
2. Click “Find Template” button,

3. When Administrator selects LINK flow to send an email, then the email received by the user will look like the image below.

2. Code
Code flow - Verification link along with verification code will be sent to the user via email. Once user clicks on that link, they will be redirected to the page to enter verification code. If the code entered is valid then only the verification process will start.
1. Click “Code” button and select the appropriate locale from the drop-down.
2. Click “Find Template” button,

3. When Administrator selects Code flow to send an email, then the email received by the user will look like the image shown below.
SMS (Short Message Service)
1. Select the template type as SMS (Short Message Service): SMS Notifications are text-based, and simple messages and links can be a great way to drive users to a website or a download link.
2. Select the appropriate locale from the drop-down and click “Find Template” button.
3. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop-down and click the “Save Template” button.
4. When Administrator sets the SMS template, once the user got registered with cidaas, the user will recieve an SMS notification link.
IVR (Interactive Voice Response)
1. Select the template type IVR (Interactive Voice Response): IVR uses prerecorded and dynamically generated audio to interact with customers.
2. Select the appropriate locale from the drop-down and click the “Find Template” button.
3. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop-down and click “Save Template” button.
4. When the administrator sets the IVR template, once registered with cidaas, the user will get a computerized call to verify the IVR.
PUSH
A push notification is a message that pops up on a mobile device. App publishers can send them at any time; not necessary for the user to be in the app or using their device to receive push notifications.
1. Select the template type push
2. When the notification type is “Verify User”, the PUSH template gets displayed as in the below screen,
3. Click “General” button against processing type, the below five “Verification Type” gets displayed
The below three verification flow is used under the five-verification type as explianed below:
1. Face: Push template use Face to recognize the authentication.
- Click “Face” button, from the drop-down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed,
- Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop-down and select the appropriate locale
- Click “Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
- Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop-down and click “Save Template” button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”
Verification Flow
cidaas offers three types of Verification flows

Passwordless Authentication |
Passwordless authentication is a type of authentication where users make passwords simple by using the fingerprint, or a code delivered via email or text message.

Verification flow is used when the user configures a new MFA method.

Multifactor Authentication |
Multifactor Authentication provides more than one method of authentication of credentials to verify the user identity.

2. Voice: Voice authentication relies on a persons' unique voice patterns for identification to authorize access. This type of authentication requires a device that can capture the user voice very accurately and software that can recognize the patterns of the voice and compare it to already-recognized patterns.
- Click “Voice” button, from the drop-down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed
- Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop-down and select the appropriate locale
- Click “Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
- Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop-down and click “Save Template” button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”.
3. Pattern: Pattern authentication is when the user prefers to draw a pattern password between the nodes to open the lock instead of entering an alphanumeric password.
- Click “Pattern” button, from the drop-down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed,
- Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop-down and select the appropriate locale.
- Click “Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
- Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop-down and click “Save Template”button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”
4. Push: A push notification is a message that popup on a mobile device. App publishers can send them at any time; users don't have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them.

5. Touch ID: Touch ID allows users to authenticate with their fingerprint (biometric authentication).
- Click “Touch ID” button, from the drop-down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed,
- Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop-down and select the appropriate locale
- Click“Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
- Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop-down and click “Save Template” button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”
